Important Camp Information
  • Our registration form is located below the camp descriptions.
  • The grade ranges for camps are not restricted - for example, if your child just completed Kindergarten, but they want to go to a PreK-K camp and a 1st-3rd grade camp- they can. 
  • Camp t-shirts are available in sizes Youth Extra Small to Adult 3XL. T-shirts must be preordered by May 20th.
  • Free Busing is available, however it is contingent on availability from United Community Action. 
  • We have scholarships available. The scholarship form is part of the registration form. Please email us with any questions!
  • Registrations are due 3 days before camps.
  • Payment is due before the first day of camp.
  • Cancellations 1 week prior to camp will receive 100% refund. There will be no refunds for cancellations after that. 
  • Cardinal Point Club Members receive a 10% discount on camps!

Wild Compass 2026 Summer Camps


PreK - Kindergarten Camps:
Pollinator Party 
July 1st - 2nd  | 9:00 am- noon | $55 
What’s that sound? Pollinators having a party in the garden! Join Wild Compass Naturalists to learn all about the different kinds of pollinators, what they do, and why they are important. Busy Bee Campers will even bring home a special pollinator surprise.

How Do Dinosaurs Go To Camp?
July 7th - 8th | 9:00 am - noon | $55
Bring your favorite dinosaur to camp as we explore the prehistoric world. Become a paleontologist, dig for fossils, and learn about the animals that lived here millions of years ago. 

Move Your Messy Body 
August 3rd - 4th | 9:00 am - noon | $55
The world was meant to be explored, especially for little ones! Come and play using all five senses to make discoveries in the natural world around us! Come prepared to get messy!


1st - 3rd Grade Camps:
3, 2, 1 Blastoff!
June 16th - 19th | 9:00 am - 1:00 pm | $120
Shoot for the stars as we explore the solar system. Discover what it takes to become an astronaut, explore the planets, and find out if there really is life beyond our star.

Adventures in Art  
July 9th | 9:00 am - 2:00 pm | $45
Create, explore, and get a little messy as we turn Sparks Park into our art studio! We'll wander the outdoors collecting paintbrushes, paints, stamps, and more - all from the items nature provides. Bring your creativity and imagination as we take an adventure in art!

Oh, the Nature You’ll See! 
July 13th - 16th | 9:00 am - 2:00 pm | $130
Can you see miles and miles of reptiles? How about our fine feathered friends? Some animals will be out of sight till tonight! Come let your imagination soar at this Dr. Seuss themed nature camp!

Gonna Be Golden
August 5th | 9:00 am - 2:00 pm | $40
Team up with the members of Huntrix as we battle Gwima’s takeover of Sparks Park. Create your own band, write a takedown song, and rescue the creatures of Sparks Park in this camp inspired by KPop Demon Hunters. 

Biome Block Builders
August 12th - 13th | 9:00 am - 2:00 pm | $70
Build. Explore. Learn. This summer watch Minecraft come alive as we learn about the real life parallels in our woods, prairies, and wetlands! Create your own characters, tools, and inventories as you move about the real world. No computers or minecraft experience necessary.

4th - 6th Grade Camps
Survivor: Wild Compass 
June 23rd - 26th | 9:00 am - 2:00 pm | $135
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have three things, what would they be? Come see if you chose wisely as we hone survival skills like knot-tying, fire and shelter building, and more!

Flower Power  
July 22nd - 23rd | 9:00 am - 2:00 pm | $75 
Let your creativity bloom as we dig into the colorful world of plants. Find out how plants live and grow, gather inspiration from the outdoors to create masterpieces, and design your very own floral arrangement.

Gonna Be Golden

Water water everywhere! It’s the height of Summer and we’re ready to get wet! Explore the science behind H2O through experiments and games as well as discover the animals that thrive in it!
